You decide to order stretch ceilings and it is logical, you have learned a lot of variants and decide to stop on this variant, because it has a mass of advantages. Before you call to company that will produce and after that install it, you are certainly interesting in installation principals. Technology in itself is simple. We wouldn’t study it in depth, there is enough brief description and you will understand how ceilings became perfectly flat. For a start on perimeter is done baguette – it is special fixing frame, due to this frame will be fastened the linen. The linen is quite flexible, but only when it gets warm. So don’t be surprise that among of instruments mounters will have a fan heater. By its help air will be heated, consequently the linen will be stretched. Now it is easy to fasten it in fixing frame. In process of installation ceiling is strongly heated for achievement of perfectly flat surface. So every border is safely fastened and now liner must get cooler. In cooling action till normal room temperature linen is shrank and stretched. At the end you have perfectly flat ceiling. However, you need foresee some moments. It is better if you finish all another works – walls and floor finishing, windows and doors installation. Remember that better hang wallpapers and paved tiles to the top of the ceiling and don’t leave any space between ceiling and the wall. Stretch ceilings mustn’t be installed immediately after hanging the wallpapers, because the air is heated during installation. Don’t hurry to place shower stall before stretch ceiling installation. Masters won’t have possibility to move it so it became rather difficult to install the ceiling. The canvas for stretch ceilings is made of flexible pvc material. It enables to create absolutely even surfaces and make structurally complex ceilings: ceilings with multiple levels, vaults, etc.
White mat or satin canvas helps achieve the effect of an ideally smooth ceiling.
