The canvas for stretch ceilings is made of flexible pvc material. It enables to create absolutely even surfaces and make structurally complex ceilings: ceilings with multiple levels, vaults, etc.
White mat or satin canvas helps achieve the effect of an ideally smooth ceiling.
It takes 3 to 5 hours to install a one-level ceiling and 2 to 3 days to install a multilevel one (depending on the complexity of the structure).
The stretch ceiling does not require much maintenance and has dust-repelling properties. If necessary, the ceiling can be washed and cleaned.
The space between the stretch and the structural ceilings can accommodate all kinds of engineering solutions which will remain hidden. If necessary, heat insulation and acoustic materials can also be placed there.
Stretch ceilings are waterproof. In case of floods from above, a stretch ceiling may hold up to 100 liters of water per 1 m2. A master can easily let out the accumulated water by opening one end of the ceiling. After the water has been removed the open end of the ceiling is reinstalled.
A broad selection of textures and a rich array of colors make it easy to choose a suitable stretch ceiling even for people with very different tastes.
Stretch ceilings do not accumulate moisture which it why they are perfect for rooms with baths, saunas and pools.
Easy installation and removal of the stretch ceiling enables quick access to all the equipment hidden behind it.
Re installation of the stretch ceiling does not affect its quality.
It is possible to build lamps and other necessary elements into the stretch ceiling. The distance between it and the structural ceiling should be at least 3 cm.
